Pasaran los días,
estoy segura,
donde mis sueños
son el papel de tus manos.
Pasaran las horas,
estoy segura,
donde la niebla de tus brazos
es el fuego presente.
Pasaran los minutos,
estoy segura,
donde vistas furtivas
son calles transitadas.
Pero no pasaran los segundos
eternos
estancados
de un infierno de incertidumbre.
There is a
long standing ovation
between your body and my hands.
Oh, how I wish to traverse
the map of your skin
and the sea of your curls
to explore the breathless depths of shaky fingers
and conquer the rise of your chest.
An endearment,
not a task,
that I envision;
and in dreams,
rest easy,
I am a cartographer at your petition.
Vuelvo a pasar por horas con brazos vacios.
Espacio recorrido, motivo no discutido,
un abrazo al aire de una roca ambulante.
En deslaves,
el fuego corre tras venas de vidrio,
de acero;
Colinas y montañas,
no hay suelo que atrape el sonido de la roca
llorando por su gloria perdida.
A veces eres azul.
Turquesa, como agua de mar
Ojos de opal marino,
coral de astudillo;
manos de marfil,
dedos de mármol pulido;
tacto tácito en penumbra.
Sin luz ni ausencia,
una presencia no anunciada
-pero no menos deseada-
viene tras velos de vidrio,
tras venas de tinta,
vienes.
Sin intención cortante
te dejo pasar,
tu, azul marino,
en estantes de azar.
Fantasmas sin nombre y cara
de que sirven
sin habla.
Callan.
No ven,
no saben.
Ignoran.
Fantasmas en carne
cuerpos conocidos
voces incoloras.
Negro.
El negro no cae
se estanca
tapa
arrincona
pero no ve
no oye.
Voces insolitas
cuerpos desolados.
Voces que claman y penan
cuerpos que bailan y rozan.
No hay nadie.
Bulla y bulla
murmullos
gritos.
Eran voces de colores sin textura.
No existian.
Astillas imaginarias,
bailaban con el ritmo del sueño.
Rebeliones sintomáticas de sangre.
Con pulso.
Con pena.
Silabas de destrucción
insesante
insensata
Muerte toca el papel oscuro
Navajas tras la muerte cortante
filosa
(pero no lo suficiente)
El fin es el comienzo.
Nada nace. Nada crece.
Sacrificio de seda
en vano por alto.
Rojo
Rojo cae
No termina.
Quiero manchar tus ojos de azul
azul tinta
azul mar.
Quiero moler tu vista al polvo de mi sangre en
rojo vida
rojo fuego.
Quiero dormir tus mares y tormentas a un
verde bosque
verde paz.
Quiero desaparecer tus huesos al
negro cielo
negro mar.
I want to break your pretty neck
like a twig, with stones.
I want to split open your red lips
like a heart, with nails and screws.
I want to rip open your chest
like a wound, festered.
I want to break your head away,
to split your mind with rage,
to rip apart the seams of your insanity,
to crest myself in your blood,
make trophies out of your bones.
And it scares me,
because all I really want is to
bash my head in the street,
screaming.
Have you ever thought
how some fingers drip in blood
frightened
ancient
and melted?
What about eyes?
Have you ever wondered how light
reflects
away from some pits,
to rise away from others?
Have you ever seen
your misery;
it is not as
poetic
as you think it is.
Sorrow is a shrapnel.
Anger, a blade.
Fury, claws.
An ailment to you
for you to use
will be spikes
poison
to all.
Maybe you have seen it all.
Maybe you have seen nothing at all.
Maybe you have not seen as much as others have.
Maybe you have seen it all.

Literature
she knows her paper cuts by name.
Rose blood
on her tongue
reminds her of yesterday's.
Lonely bones.
A heart's hoarded secrets,
love me pretties, &
scarlet letter dreams.
But
do these boys know
of the bitter winter
churning,
like a blizzard
in her veins?
The sharp edges
of half-empty
kisses,
or the crisscross
folding
of origami limbs?
Her eyes,
as deep &
unfeeling
as the ocean;
These days, Black Friday really lasts a week
but I haven't bothered to write out a list--
You cannot find the things I want in a store.
The sound of a rejected embrace
is the same as the shatter of a broken bulb
or a house burning down on Christmas morning.
There is a name for the way
strings of holiday lights blur out of focus
when you watch someone you love walk away.
i am shipwrecked fever;
kerosene sleep,
& she is denied oxygen.
i taste sirens on the shore
of her collarbones,
& salt-licked sea limbs.
but, it's the natural disaster
wrapped around her coral spine
that really has my lungs
